NORTHPORT, AL — A man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle at a restaurant in Northport Sunday evening. Click here to subscribe to our free Tuscaloosa Daily newsletter and breaking news alerts Northport Police Department Assistant Chief Keith Carpenter told Patch that NPD received a call of a pedestrian struck at 6:14 p.m. Sunday at Wendy's on McFarland Boulevard, which prompted a response from police, Northport Fire and Northstar. Carpenter said the victim sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident. NPD's Accident Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the incident.
