ATLANTA — All lanes have reopened on I-285 westbound just before Bouldercrest Road after a deadly accident shut down the highway ahead of and during rush hour traffic, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The incident happened just after 3 a.m. Monday shutting down the inner loop on the east side of Atlanta just past I-20. Traffic opened up on the thorofare around 8 a.m., briefly. RED ALERT remains with this Crash Investigation on I-285/wb (Inner Loop) at Bouldercrest Rd. (exit 51). All lanes are closed. Don't use I-20 because it it is backed up.
