"If the people re-elect Trump you want him out, by any means necessary- that's the message of your post. It's NOT A DEMOCRACY when you, and your ilk, are the only people with opinions that matter, even if you lose the election." Are you being serious or do you just lack that much self awareness? The OP didn't say or imply what you're claiming. Total strawman argument. You're making something up to be mad about. Like OP, I find another potential Trump presidency to be an existential danger to this country. It's already in my plans to do urban/blue area outreach and help people get registered if Trump runs again. I can afford to take a few months off work if I need to. What people like me are doing is strengthening democracy by encouraging participation, not weakening it! Frankly, almost half of eligible Americans don't vote, and encouraging participation is in no way shape or form a dictatorship - it's the exact opposite! Did you know that Trump's win in 2016 was with a mere 27% of the eligible voting population? Voter Turnout was 57%. Chew on that for a while. In what world is 27% deciding the fate of the rest of us reasonable? Furthermore, what about the opinions of the majority of voters in the 2020 election? How come they don't matter? How about Trump calling up Secretaries of State with vague threats to "find more votes". How about all the lawsuits that Trump/Team trump tried to push through courts full of lawyers he appointed? How about the supporters who bought his bullcrap hook line and sinker and were ready to use violence to subvert the will of the people, on Jan 6th and beyond? How is THAT not attempts at creating a dictatorship? Trump lost fair and square and his supporters refused to accept it. Most are starting to see the light, finally and thank god. The second quoted sentence is the very definition of hypocrisy, is it not? Not trying to be offensive, but damn, that's an impressive amount of mental loop-tee-loops.
