JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Warehouse Manager will perform a combination of tasks involved in the shipping/receiving department; these tasks include, but are not limited to, reading work orders to determine what items need to be shipped, moved and packaged in a timely manner. They should be able to process UPS/FEDEX or BOL's labels for shipments going out and will be responsible for recording any maintaining production supplies coming in. They will keep accurate records of production materials received and/or distributed. You will package orders for shipment including building boxes, wrapping product according to protocol and taping along with labeling of boxes. Your job includes maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition along with following prescribed safety regulations.
The candidate will also have general knowledge and experience in Carpentry; good math skills and problem-solving skills is a must. This candidate will be building bases for production, helping to design and build base structures of new furniture designs, building crates for shipments amongst other carpentry related work efforts. This person must have experience and be skilled to work with all carpentry machines and tools used in the trade. More to be discussed at interview.
