Landscape Construction Foreman. We are looking for a responsible member to join our team. Work experience of at least 3 years is required. Description: Must be thoroughly competent with various aspects of landscape construction including but not limited to: -clearing and grubbing/demolition -drainage -grading -soil prep -equipment operation (no heavy equipment license necessary although will provide increase in pay if equipped with one) -planting and plant knowledge -softscape installation (boulders, DG, etc) -irrigation, new install as well as retrofitting of existing -landscape lighting (low voltage), new install as well as retrofitting of existing -capable of physical labor associated with landscape construction -ability to handle a crew of 1-5 laborers effectively -practicing work in a safe manner -bilingual recommended as many of our laborers prefer Spanish -ability to read plans is a plus -May be asked to assist with masonry and concrete work from time to time About us: We are a family run business. Mark Langer, owner, has been running the business for 50 years. We work on residential as well as commercial projects spanning San Diego County although most of the work lies within North County cities. Our capabilities include installation of masonry, hardscape, softscape and landscape. We have an in-house designer which yields many design/build projects. We also work with larger construction companies as subcontractors. Details: Pay will be dependent on experience level Full time. 8-hour workdays with hourly pay
