Description
Our family is seeking a new home for our 5yr old dog Arya. According to where we adopted her as a puppy, she's a German Sheppard mix. We're not certain what she's mixed with, but we believe it's Kelpie.
Arya is very well-trained and highly intelligent. She is a good listener and knows all kinds of commands such as sit, lay down, stay, shake, turn around, go to bed, kennel-up and more. She also knows a number of fun tricks that our daughter has taught her.
We're going to be spending a couple of years overseas and are sadly unable to take her with us. We would love to, but we'll be living in an apartment that isn't suited for dogs. We will also be jumping from country to country, so finding the necessary dogsitter every time would be very difficult.
Arya is crate trained and can spend multiple hours in a crate with no problem. That said, my wife and I both work from home and we know that she'd be terribly lonely if left alone frequently for long periods of time... she loves and needs companionship. The ideal situation would be with someone who works from home or is retired.
We are also looking for a home that has room for Arya to run and play outside. And most of all, someone who is very loving with their dog and would benefit from giving and receiving all kinds of joy from this very special girl.
A small re-homing fee includes everything you need including a bed, crate, toys, food/water bowls, etc. She is spayed, chipped and vaccinated.
Homes with adults only or kids 12+ only please.
