BEWARE!
The person selling the HomeDepot Store Credit, $670 for $450, is selling stolen cards and or acquired the cards through HomeDepot by returning stolen equipment.
I attempted to buy this from him (thankfully I did not) yesterday, and he bolted. He tried to use the ID of his 'friend' and luckily, the checker did her job and denied the transaction. At the time, I had no reason to believe they were stolen, until he tried to cover up the ID with his hand, hoping the checker would only scan the barcode. He also insisted on going through the self checkout, which I thought was odd, as the self checkout will flag the transaction for a checker to come and look at ID.
I believe the cards, and the ID was stolen.
He goes by the name 'Jacoby' and his current ad says his name is 'Tom'. He has a DIY tattoo of a Rose on his left hand, and what looks like a Compass on his right hand. I remember this, because I asked him how painful it was, as the top/back of your hand is sensitive to pain. He is skinny, about 6 foot, white, appears to be in his mid to late 20's.
Do not buy from this man.
Home Depot needs to crack down on these thieves. Take the store credit cards, when a user tries to use other people's ID to complete transaction.
