lost AND found dog

This is a rescue dog. Ive had him just about three weeks. The pic of him all sucked up was taken the day he got here. the other was taken a couple days ago. oh my god he slipped out this morning and took off. he is so fragile. i have him posted at mcac as a found dog. now Im listing him as lost. his previous owners have yet to contact me. i have a couple places where hes posted as found. hes been gone about an hour. i cant find him anywhere. It cold out. hes got no fat to stay warm. I feel sick to my stomach. I feel terrible. I claim him until they do or dont. Hes about 9 months a broken tail, half if its gone. hes so sweet. hes come a long way in a short time. i dont know his name. ive been calling him max as he was rescued at a max station. he drinks water like crazy. already put down 40 lbs. of food and everything else he can. he has a long way to go to recover, if he ever will. nonetheless, hes probably scared to death. he was literally starving to death when he showed up here. i fear hes going to wander for days. oh my god. i feel like I failed him. please help me find him and get him home. here to me. He is a very sweet boy. Hes a keeper for sure. He stole my heart. Ive been waiting for his owner(s). lord have mercy. what a mess. Hes not mine but Ill claim him.
