We are proud to partner with the City of Eugene to fill the Fleet Parts Specialist role. This is a full time, 6-month contract position. Duties include: • Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores equipment, supplies and commodities; checks quality and quantities against packing slips and purchase orders; handles and resolves discrepancies with vendors and staff. • Maintains a computerized inventory control system relating to the purchase and procurement of materials and supplies including vendor data, stock description, quantities, price information, and shipment method. Monitors and maintains accuracy of data; develops and produce a variety of records and reports. • Conducts physical inventories; cleans and checks storage area for proper maintenance, safety and storage procedures. • Ability to: Research, identify and purchase supplies, automotive and equipment parts and/or safety, janitorial and laboratory commodities.
