Found Parakeet

D Avenue near 24th Street, Cedar Rapids IA

Description

A yellow Parakeet with irregular black markings was eating with the wild birds in my yard and drinking from the heated water bowl this morning about 9:00. Of course he flew away when I spoke to him, but he didn't go far, so he may still be in the area. It's too cold for him outside, so I don't think he's been missing for too long. I hope his owner will see this, and maybe, somehow find him, and he'll end up back home before the temperature drops tonight.....If he's your bird, I pray that you get him back home safely!
