Home City Ice - Dayton is seeking a maintenance technician/handyman to make repairs and perform preventative maintenance on company owned ice merchandisers in the Miami Valley area. No experience necessary. We will train the right person. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for someone studying or seeking to enter the HVAC field, or for a semi-retired person looking to make some extra money! $13.00-$16.00+ per hour - commensurate with experience. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING AVAILABLE. Responsibilities include: -Safely operating company vehicle to/from customer locations. -Performing preventative and light maintenance on small appliance grade refrigeration systems. -Troubleshooting basic electrical issues. Replacing/repairing various electrical components (Thermostats, fan motors, defrost timers, etc.) -Communicating with customers and office on repair status. EPA Type 1 Certification Preferred - BUT NOT REQUIRED! Requirements include: · Must pass a background check and drug test. · Must have a valid driver's license (you will be driving our maintenance vehicle.)
