Avery County Private Pesticide Applicator Safety Training Subclass “X” scheduled for Tuesday, July 20, 2021. N.C. Cooperative Extension, Avery County Center will be hosting a Private Pesticide Recertification Training in sub-class “X” scheduled on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. The training will be held at the Avery County Cooperative Extension Center (661 Vale Road, Newland, NC) from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. This training has been approved for 2.0 credit hours . If you are a private applicator and your license expires in 2021, you are required to obtain 2.0 credit hours in sub-class "X". Along with the 2.0 hours of sub-class "X", you will need to obtain 2.0 credit hours in subclass"V". If you do not complete the required hours of training, within the three-year recertification period, you will then be required to pass a written exam in order to maintain your license.
