Due to a current pregnancy we are no longer able to keep our B & G Macaw Ranger. He does NOT step up and DOES lunge at you when near his cage. He needs a lot of work and attention. He is friendly but only when you are talking to him and showing him attention, if left alone or unnoticed for to long he will squak all day long. I have two young children already, he has not bit them or tried to bite them but when i feed him or change his water he does lunge at me. He has NEVER actually bit me or my husband. We have only had him for a year, he was purchased at a petstore. He comes with a huge cage and tree stand. I am asking a rehoming fee more so for the cage that was orginally $600 and the tree stand as well. Please do not message me asking if "the bird" is still available I will not respond. SERIOUS INQUIRIES only needs to go ASAP will need to pick him up will need a truck or uhaul. cage will be disassembled already.
