Description
You came in with two young men, sat next to me at the bar. I was the older gentleman, local, and easily found, given I own the most beautiful historic home in downtown. Could not tell if the fellow standing next to you was just a friend or more, and I am not one to disrespect another gentleman, nor impose upon another's relationship. You were quiet, very attractive, and yet I would could not even bring myself to disrespect by offering you a glance, and yet, "look I did". Then we all laughed as the waitress was frustrated that she got an online order for a grilled Cheese sandwich without any bread. I laughed and said, "I am an Engineer and I couldn't even make that one." And you laughed and threw in a line or two. LOL I loved your sense of humor, and maybe you gave me a glance or maybe I just imagined. The chances that you will read this are slim, and an encounter leading to success in life is merely by chance, but I will remember that moment, and you, and one can only hope for what dreams may come. Sure, it was a time to be casual, but if I were that man you were with, you would have much more of my attention than that, for I am a romantic man, and you are a beautiful young lady.
I won't be looking for you, though this is a small town. I simply hope I run into you again someday, or you find this post, somewhere in the ether, and you reply and let me know if you would have any interest in my friendship.
And if you sir, the man standing next to her reads this, you have my upmost respect, and it was a pleasure to have your company and that of your friends.
