First Day Hike 2021: Tunnel Vision

Start out the New Year on the right foot at Natural Tunnel State Park. Throughout the day, the park will host 3 guided hike opportunities. Tunnel Vision Bring in the New Year by joining the park interpreters on a guided hike to view both sides of the Natural Tunnel. 9:45 a.m. - Hike to the South Portal (1/2 mile round-trip, rated difficult) 11 a.m. - Hike to the North Portal (1 mile roundtrip, rated moderate) The hike will begin on the Tunnel Trail which will lead you down to view the South Portal of the Tunnel. Afterwards, you'll continue onto the Stock Creek Trail to see the North Portal of the Tunnel - the less photographed side. You have the option of hiking to see both sides of the Tunnel or just one side. Both hikes will start and end at the Visitor Center. Wear sturdy shoes, bring plenty of water and don't forget your camera. Social distancing will be enforced during the guided hikes. Masks are recommended.
