Portable Toilet route tech: Driver will drive a route to service Portable Toilets, pick-up/delivery of port-a-potties, hand-wash stations. Also responsible for general cleaning and maintenance at shop after completing route. Duties/Responsibilities: • Travels to worksite, transporting materials, equipment, and occasionally other staff. • Flushes, empties, and cleans units; performs other services required to maintain or repair units, tanks, and system as appropriate. • Cleans and disinfects areas affected by sewage. • Deliver or pick up units, adapting route as business conditions change. • Loads delivery vehicle with units/equipment scheduled for delivery. • Delivers to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary. • Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made. • Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor. Follows disinfecting and safety guidelines. • Assists in general equipment, yard & maintenance duties when route is completed. • Updates maps and routes assigned, providing feedback to routing team. Required Skills/Abilities: • Thorough understanding of equipment, units, trucks and repair. • Ability to safely and effectively operate all tools and equipment. • Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps. • Ability to follow directions and procedures without constant or regular supervision. • Ability to communicate with dispatch, customers, and leadership.
