We rescued Ozzy and his brother 5 years ago from an owner that could not take care of them. We are pretty sure he is 6 years old. Ozzy has been a great dog, but we are moving and are unable to take him with us. So we are hoping to find a good family that will take care of him. Ozzy is an alpha dog and high energy. He is a Rott mix of some kind and weighs around 70 pounds. He is athletic and loves nothing more than to chase his frisbee. He is highly intelligent and protective of his family. He does not like other dogs, due to a lack of socialization as a pup, but he would get along with another dog if the owner is patient and works with him. He is fantastic with people and I trust him implicitly around children. He is a very needy dog from an attention perspective, and he will follow you wherever you go. He might even cause you to develop tennis elbow from throwing his frisbee and ball so much. He loves to take walks, as he goes with me every morning. We are asking a $40 rehoming fee only to help ensure he finds a good home. We reserve the right to refuse a rehome opportunity if we feel it would not be a good fit. Decision will be made within 24 hours of meeting Ozzy, as our family wishes to have time to discuss the potential owners and the fit.
