Islands in the Stream: Music and stories narrated and performed by Robert Gans on piano
Giving pieces of music some context can help us to appreciate them as islands of beauty, inspiration, and solace in the stream of life and change as it sweeps us along.
Each piece Robert performs will be accompanied by a short description of background events which illustrate its
meaning and importance to him, and led to his choosing to perform it.
The final piece, Dancing on Water, from his April 2021 album release The Presence of That Absence, will feature piano and vocals.
