Children will learn about Alicia's Closet, and spread holiday cheer by wrapping presents for kinship and unity families. Who this in person service event is for: Ages 4-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling. Please see COVID-19 protocols below to determine if this event is appropriate for your littlest ones. What you'll be doing: Seeds of Caring is spreading holiday cheer by helping Alicia’s Closet wrap presents that will be given to kinship and reunifying families. Families will learn about different types of foster care, the support Alicia’s Closet provides to foster parents, and then help wrap presents and create holiday cards. Optionally, if your family would like to purchase a gift for a kinship or reunifying family, an Amazon wishlist will be provided. COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Events: Please review our COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Programming before registering for this event. This is an indoor event and masks are required for everyone regardless of vaccination status. Specific Instructions: You are signing up for the 10:00am - 11:30am shift. Please bring a mask for everyone attending. All event supplies will be provided. Why you'll be asked to donate and pay a supply fee: On the next page you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for Columbus-area kids.
