Join us for this special pop up yoga class focusing on stretching and increasing flexibility with a short presentation on winter cycling.
Chris Welch is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and athlete who also moonlights as an attorney. Chris is going to instruct for about 45 minutes with a gentle flow that people can incorporate into their winter off-season. This will be perfect for people who are looking to keep up their fitness for 2022. Regardless if you’re a biker, hiker, or runner you will be sure to get some active recovery tips to set you up for a great off season and an even better 2022 season.
This will be followed by a short talk on winter cycling. Chris has fat biked in almost every condition imaginable. From frigid races in the Midwest, to completing the Leadville winter fat bike series in 2020-2021, he is well versed on all the things you need to know if you are considering cycling through the winter or in the snow. He will have some of his favorite gear on hand to demonstrate what kinds of things you need to think about if you are thinking about biking in the dark of the winter. This is his favorite season!
