His songs are about love and lust and kisses and tears and phantoms invited to the cocktail party. He wears his heart on his sleeve with lyrics that emulate real life revelations and mysteries. His voice is masterful, with a full range of sounds, both raw and sophisticated, so you get a little Roy Orbison, a little David Byrne, a little Antony & the Johnsons, a  little Barry White, a little Rufus, both Wainwright and Chaka Khan. He doesn’t pretend to be something he’s not and he’ll draw you into a world that certainly and obviously is. Brook grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts USA with a very musical family. He lives in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts USA. “My ‘gift’ is my singing voice and the delivery to the listener. It’s always from my heart, sometimes big and loving, sometimes soft and melancholy. I’m a little soul, a little indie, a little show tune-esque. I’ve been doing this a long time and am really good at entertaining the audience, engaging with them and showing off my vocal abilities.”
