A beloved Boston tradition since 1909, Candlelight Carols celebrates the birth of Christ through Scripture readings, carols, and anthems. In the October 21, 2016 edition of Yankee Magazine, writer Amy Traverso called it "...as close to heaven as human hands and voices have ever crafted. To be amid people in a room so full and so fully at peace. This is the Christmas of dreams." Candlelight Carols will be held on December 18 at both 4 pm and 7 pm, and December 19 at 2 pm. All proceeds from this year’s Candlelight Carols support the continuing ministries of Trinity Church, including the choirs' Summer 2022 England tour.To reduce the spread of COVID-19, this event will be ticketed to 60% capacity and vaccination will be required for all those 12 and older. We require masks to be worn for the entirety of the event.Any donations received independent of ticket purchase will be considered a charitable, tax-deductible contribution.Please find a map of the seating inside the church here.
