Overview of CNC for machine tools.
CNC (Computer Numeric Control) is about writing stories to tell machines how to make parts. Explore the difference between stepper motors vs. servo motors. Discussion of CNC and CAD (computer aided design) software. Then walk though TekVenture's CNC routers, vertical mills, 3D printers, and plotter. Some machines will be demonstrated.

The general public can access TekVenture through Thursday evening Maker MeetUps, scheduled workshops, events, community building projects, membership, and donations of time, materials, equipment, or money.
