Our November hike will be on the Prairie Path at Lapham Peak. This trail is 4.5 miles and is rated as Intermediate. Join us for a new series of group hikes for dogs and their amazing humans too. Let's foster new friendships and build community, all while enjoying a hike together. Registration for the hike is FREE. State Park Pass Required, $8 (WI, Cash) or $13 (Out-of-State, Cash) Day Pass Available We'll meet in the Evergreen Grove parking lot, hike will begin at 8:00am sharp! 4.5 miles on the Prairie Path, rated as Intermediate. A few rules: All dogs must be leashed (6ft or less) for the duration of the hikePractice "Leave No Trace" principles, pick up your dog poop, and no litteringBring water and any snacks for you and your pupPlease note: These events will be best suited to dogs that are comfortable around other dogs. As much as I love reactive dogs (we have two of our own), this group setting may be too stressful for them. Ours will not be participating, and I encourage others to do the same. Note on liability: You participate at your own risk. Participants agree to hold Shadow Dog Photography and Janice Bezzo harmless for any loss or personal injury to participant and/or participant's dog(s) which may occur while participating in the Hikes & Hounds Wisconsin events.
