A night of giving back to the community. The Wrap Gala Presents Its First Black Tie Chicagoland Toy Drive Historically, poverty and homelessness has crippled underserved communities in Chicago, namely the southside. For the past 18 months, children in those communities have been disproportionally affected by the lack of resources, funding, and opportunities as a result of the global pandemic. We believe that toys are more than just fun and games for children. Toys engage their senses, spark their imaginations, and encourage them to dream and shape their futures. The Wrap Gala, created by Chicago-born and -based stylist & philanthropist, Pierre Miller. This will be a Fashionable night dedicated to giving back, and giving joy to the children on the southside of Chicago who might not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season. The Wrap Gala’s mission to donate all toys and proceeds it garners to Chicago-based organization, ChiGivesBack, Inc. Founded in 2018, ChiGivesBack’s vision is to inspire, empower, and influence community members to give back to others. Through service, education, and philanthropic initiatives (like its annual toy drive), ChiGivesBack believes in paying it forward. Please keep in mind that we are still living in a pandemic, so any donations would have to be a packaged new toy etc. All donations will be accepted and accounted for the night of the Gala.
