Sketchbook Club is a place to play, make a mess, and be free from perfection! Materials Included, bring your own sketchbook. Sketchbook - Boost your creativity! This is a club for artists in any field. In this club, we are going to draw, paint, do collages, and many other ways to fill your own sketchbook with other peers. At the beginning of the club, we are given the theme to work on during each session, and you will use any medium you want. Bring your own sketchbook and a creative mind! I recommend an 8.5"x5.5" size, but it can be bigger or smaller! 8.5 x 11 Inches sketchbook is great for not only drawing and painting but also generating your ideas and exploring your thoughts more. A 4.5" x 7" inches sketchbook is easy to carry with you so it’s great for sketching outside with a pen and watercolor. If you are not sure which sketchbook to buy, you can purchase one at Threads. But I highly recommend going to the art store and feel the paper and size by yourself. The art supplies are provided, but you can bring your own. Because you are encouraged to use different mediums in your sketchbook we do recommend one with thicker paper such as heavy weight watercolor or bristol paper. During the class, everyone is encouraged to try new things and create a messy sketchbook. We are free from perfectionism and do’s and don’ts. We are learning from each other and expressing our unique creativity. After each session, your creative mind is inspired by other peers and excited to fill the blank space with your ideas more!
