Soap Making for Therapy Workshop
Looking to do something exciting yet therapeutic this Fall? Head over to The Old Town Soap Company for a one-of-a-kind soap making experience where students of all ages are encouraged to relax and explore their artistic abilities through learning the fundamentals of melt & pour soap making, mold, fragrance and colorant selection, packaging and creative ideas for gifting and selling their finished product.
During this interactive workshop, students are also encouraged to "be in the present" and embrace one another's creativity through positive speaking which we hope will lead to new and lasting friendships.

Founded in 2012 by U.S. Navy Veteran Ernestine Brown, she originally used her craft as a form of psychological therapy while serving on active duty in the military. Upon realizing the positive effects of her products along with the mental and emotional satisfaction as well as stability that her craft provides, she decided to share it with the world and has since been well received by many.
Today, Ernestine focuses on manufacturing top-quality products and celebrates her craft by teaching its powerful effects to her local community which also serves as a way to support underfunded schools that may no longer offer electives such as Homemaking and Floral Design Shop.
