Butterflies in solidarity with Author Cordelia Funchess will be discussing the face of domestic violence. December is the month overflowing with love, joy, gifting and games. But many people fail to realize that it’s a month which brings about pain. Domestic violence issues heighten as kids are on an extended break from school which impacts the finances and places a strain on some already struggling relationships. On December 4, 2021-Butterflies will host an awareness event at Redeemer Church Fellowship Hall, 640 East Northside Drive in Jackson, MS. The event will begin at 9:00pm, with Cordelia Funchess, author of “The Voice of a Survivor; Diamond’s Story,” as our keynote speaker. The focus of this event will be: “The face of domestic violence”. Join us as we discuss the hidden dangers surrounding domestic violence. NOTE: WE WILL BE ACCEPTING CAN GOODS TO DONATE TO OUR LOCAL FOOD BANK.
