During this event we will cover the basics of reward based training, marking commands with a clicker and confidence building. Hello everyone! During this session we will cover the basics of reward based training and marking commands with a clicker. Additionally, we will practice confidence building exercises on obstacles such as the A-Frame and tunnel. Demos will be provided for all of the exercises and a suprise demonstration will be given at the end of the session. The only items required area a leash, flat collar, and some of your dogs favorite treats. We ask everyone to refrain from bringing dogs who are aggressive towards other dogs or people. Being that we will be rewarding our dogs with food, please do not feed your dog the morning of the session. Working dogs can be a fun and rewarding experience. Being that we only have a short time to train together, we are requesting that only one family member works the dog during the session. This will help prevent confusion for the dog and help build your bond as a handler. Spouses/co-owners are welcome to audit.
