A summit on Fatherhood with Big Big prizes, Great speakers, Live DJ, Live performance, and the voice of young black males. The No Cap Man Up Fatherhood Summit is a forum designed for young black males and boys of color to have intimate discussions on fatherhood addressing the issues of fatherlessness and how it has impacted them as a culture! The summit will provide history, insight, healing, challenges and empowerment! Big Big prizes include Xbox, Jordan's, cash prizes and much more! DJ Youngstar on the 1's & 2's Great speakers Live performances! Testimonies from young black males in the Twin Cities community! Panel discussions! Only 120 seats available for young men age 15-24 (Must Register) Registration is $10 to RSVP your seat (Dinner included with your ticket!) Event will also be live streamed on The Man Up Club facebook page! Moderated by: Korey "XROSS" Dean Panelist Include: Dr. Charles Morgan Ricky Collins More Guest speaker announced soon! This event is in partnership with City of Minneapolis Office of Violence prevention and Packed House Live! The Man Up Club is a non-profit (501c3) youth leadership organization that serves African American males through mentorship to improve their lives, their future outlook and goals, and strengthens their families. The Man Up Club meets with a selected group of young men to develop social skills, life skills, academic discipline, civic responsibility, and provide positive male leadership through role models and mentors. Through group meetings and a one on one personal development approach we create an atmosphere that encourages young men to recognize the significance of social responsibility, civic pride, and exhibit responsible behavior as they meet life‘s challenges to narrow employment opportunities and the graduation gap.
