Plumbing help needed

Pensacola FL

Description

I just bought a 50's ranch in east hill. I'm doing some work in the bathroom and wanted to raise the height of the shower neck pipe. I had hoped that I'd be dealing with copper since the previous owner did a lot of updates but the plumbing is galvanized...I had hoped to be able to break the original threaded 90 and go up with brass then copper but the 90 is locked up. I hit it with WD40 and a torch this morning but it's not budging...I think I'd like to go all the way down to the valve and transition to copper from there but I'm not experienced enough. I looking for someone with some experience dealing with this type of thing...It's a tight work space. I'm 5'10", 190lbs and I can fit in the space and move around but it would be challenging for anyone bigger than that. If you want to tackle this small project let me know. I'll pay cash per hour or you can give me a bid for the job...I'm good either way. Cash settled that day. Also, if this ins't for you but you know of someone that would be good for this I'll give you a $20 finders fee if I end up using them. I've attached some pictures to give an idea of the project. Thanks
