I went to the GABA Bike Swap early this morning. It's different from say, what, 2011 or 2012. I mean, back then there were major bicycle corps (you know the ones) and shops there at all those meets. Drowning in traveling Sales Reps. My takeaway this year: meh, used to be a valid and legitimate thing. I have no idea what the situation portends, the larger meaning. I took the bus home from there and after a couple stops a young Asian female boarded. I figure she was a UA or Uariz student, probably from Taiwan or South Korea. She was alone, as in by herself. Going somewhere. Brave. I admire that. Best I could do was side-glance at her. Furtive. I wanted to strike up a simple conversation; small talk. I hope she stays in USA. I am having the darndest time figuring out what to call the University of Arizona. UA? UArizona? UARIZONA? UAZ? LOSER? What do you think? Please inform and explain all the above to me. T/
