The Kennett Heritage Center is organizing a zany krewe of 20-30 people to carry lanterns for the Kennett Square Holiday Light Parade.
Sign up here to carry a lantern and be a part of the Kennett Heritage Center's zany lantern krewe. We're looking for 20-30 people of all ages to carry lanterns for the upcoming Kennett Square Holiday Light Parade on Friday November 26.
Our next free drop-in lantern making workshop is on Sunday November 21, from 1-4 p.m. at the Garage Community Youth Center, 115 South Union St. The Garage is wheelchair accessible, and all warm bodies are accepted.
For the procession: Remember to dress in layers, wear colorful LED wristbands, necklaces, or lighted clothing, and bring your best noise makers. Lantern carrying sticks and lights will be given out before the start of the parade.
