Thom Hartman's talk on the dangerous ways the fascists are making their way slowly. examples: infiltrating police departments, infiltrating the enlisted ranks of the military, their taking over school boards, local boards of elections, they are firing principals and teachers who defend multi racial/multi cultural democracy, while banning and burning books that contain such dangerous books. They are gerrymandering states, they're changing election laws, to make it harder for city folks to vote and or and even change the outcomes of elections that they don't like. They are building media structures that will support the authoritarian take over when it happens. They are organizing armed paramilitary militias with back channel connections to police. they are creating legal organizations to sanitize ending messy democracies. They are radicalizing average North Americans through social media and an ever growing network of hard right podcasts.
