Description
Walgreens has been blaming diving profits on theft and now the Castro store gets shut down for rat infestation. The polite staff I found at Walgreens were very few, so I hardly shop at any of theur locations. How about blaming your LOSER lost prevention staff? You know, the one's following and spying on most minority shoppers with brown & black skin, as soon as they walk in the store.
They did it to me, using mirrors they have on their ceiling (watch you from the next isle) and with eye signals, cashiers hint to loss prevention members. so they check out a particular shopper. The only light skin theft suspect to them is a homeless looking shopper, but NEVER a normal or well-dressed light skin shopper.
Never know, even loss prevention members would find it easier to steal from employers. After all, no one is watching them.
However, something does not up, when they hire pos sfpd cops, instead of guards. I read this is like a second job for such pos cops, but I do not believe it & do not expect they're working for $15/hr. No way Walgreens could make a profit, paying 2 cops on a shift, like in downtown. I think the city is giving them free cops, and we are paying for it!
I always thought their loss prevention staff sucked, because while they wasted time watching me, maybe someone else with light skin took from them! And that goes for other retailers too, specially Ross (dress for 'nothing'), because you can often find Ross security devices & tags tossed on the street. Even before the pandemia, Walgreens was losing profits. but now they are losing shoppers like me... Let's
go walgreens: just leave and take your rats with you!
