The City of San Ramon has begun the process of re-drawing the district lines for future City Council elections, based on new data from the 2020 Census.
On November 9, 2021, the City Council held the first Public Hearing on the redistricting process. Demographer Michael Wagaman presented an overview of the redistricting process, including the timeline, an explanation of redistricting, opportunities for public input, and more.

Public input is key to the redistricting process. Now through February 3, 2022, residents are invited to share their thoughts through one or more of the following:
1. Draw a draft map with one or more new district boundaries

Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 7 p.m.
Public Hearing 4: Consideration of Final Maps
