Acoustic Jam - Outdoors Covid Safe Looking to meet with other musicians to play acoustic instruments (guitar, mandolin, bass, etc) in an OUTDOOR setting. Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Swing, etc. The sessions I used to attend have moved indoors with many folks now having a false sense of security. Instead, I plan to find days when the forecast isn’t too terrible and gather under a shelter at Titlow Park in Tacoma. Bring a “Little Buddy” propane heater, or the like, and a folding chair. Not looking to form a band, or record, or mess around with original music (there are thousands of great tunes already). Not meant to be “lessons” so please have a level of proficiency that would allow you to play along with others. Just looking to enjoy spending an hour or so, once in a while, with nice folks to play a few tunes. You know, take turns calling tunes, etc. Let me know if this idea holds interest for you.
