In this class we learn to design long-stemmed roses 3 different ways: presentation style, hand-wrapped rose bouquet, and designed in a vase.
1. Presentation style- A formal design that would be presented to a new graduate or individual commemorating a special event.
2. Hand-wrapped - A less formal design style that can be dropped in a vase and given to a friend or relative.
3. Vase Arrangement- Can be either formal or informal. We will learn the more formal design style of a dozen long -stemmed roses arranged in a vase that is typically given on Valentines Day. There are basics to arranging roses in a vase that anyone can learn. A Secret: success begins with a good foundation of greenery.
This class is constructed as a beginner’s class. There is no experience required as we will be concentrating on basic design principles. But, as with anything, you will need to practice your newly learned techniques to become more comfortable, adept at what you have learned. But, that is what makes learning a new hobby so fun!
