Older Dog Wanted for Senior Citizen

We are looking for a male dog, 5-8 years old as a companion to an older spayed female and her elderly owner. Must be good with dogs, cats, children, everyone. No health or behavioral issues....just a nice mixed breed dog with a good disposition. 45-65 pounds. Preferably from a private home, where perhaps the dog's owner went to a nursing home or moved. NO bully breeds, NO hunting breeds.
