Seeking opinions of The Bose L1 sound system

Hello fellow musicians - I am looking for honest opinions / experiences with the Bose L1 sound system. I am half of a male/female acoustic duo. We play at small bars (often noisy), nursing facilities and outdoor farm markets...etc. Currently we each play through Fishman Mini Loud boxes. I feel the sound is a bit too "separated" even when the amps are close together. We really don't want to be hauling PA amps, speakers, monitors...etc, so I'm considering a Bose L1 system and would appreciate other musician's opinions and suggestions. Thanks for any / all replies.
