NFI Forklift Operator FULL-TIME $19/hr 657 W Nance St, Perris, CA 92571 Starting hourly wage is $18.00/hour and can go up to $19.00/hour depending on shift. Part-Time Shift Available for Nights/Weekends. The Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to his or her own. Essential duties: - Unloading inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations - Stacking and storing merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull or other powered equipment - Pulling and preparing products for shipment - Ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped - Performing picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards - Moving product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers - Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods - Maintaining appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security - Assisting in physical inventories - Ensuring proper stock rotation - Conducting cycle counts as requested Schedule - Shift start: 5:00AM or 5:00PM - Shift length: 8.5 hours - Days: Monday - Thursday, Monday - Friday or Friday - Monday Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - At least 1-year experience reach truck experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment - At least 1 year of clamp truck experience - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs About NFI NFI is a leading international third party logistics provider with customers ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses.
