Petsmart surrendered a ball python to me yesterday because she won’t eat. She is already fairly skinny and appears to be getting weak. So far she has refused a live mouse and a frozen hopper from me. The store was able to “force feed” her twice before I adopted her but she really isn’t looking very good. I only got her yesterday but I’m concerned if I can’t get her to eat soon. Feeder mice at petco and pet supermarket are too large and intimidating for her right now so I’m thinking she needs a much smaller than normal feeder maybe even a few. If any other ball python keepers out there have any other ideas to get her to eat I’d love to hear them btw!
