Description
Hi yes I would like to make a complaint about the horrible way my great aunt and I were treated down there at the old sale barn that they done made into a motel. And when I say made I would like to note that they excluded the ADA requirements that all businesses must have. And the reason I say that is because my great aunt is a double amputee. Now I know what you’re thinking, but you’re wrong. It’s seven.
Anyways I was shocked and appalled by the lack of care and concern them folks have for double amputees. Or for any disabled person, really. And I do not appreciate the snarky one liner signs they have “conveniently” placed everywhere either. For instance, the 8x10” framed white xerox sheet of paper that said:
“If you want it bad enough.. Walk.”
Another, located right inside the elevators:
“Life isn’t always about taking the easy escalator route. Sometimes you just have to stand up, and grab life by the balls.. standing.”
I said this is too much.
Can someone help me lose the pride I used to have when I would talk about that motel? Because it’s gone. Like flew out the coop twice bye bye gone.
