Attend this workshop to enjoy the connection of other sober women, and learn how to add more balance to your life through essential oils. What’s in your toolbox for emotional sobriety? Meditation, friends to call, a favorite song, a hot bath, bubbly water, exercise, chocolate... What do you use in situations when in the past, you would have had a drink or smoked a bowl to calm your nerves? Have you tried essential oils yet? Attend this workshop to enjoy the connection of other sober women, and to learn how to add more pleasure and serenity to your life through the use of essential oils. You’ll leave with your own custom blend (included in the workshop). Join My Sober Girlfriends, and guest Dana DuPont, educator on therapeutic grade essential oils, Ayurvedic lifestyle, vegan nutrition, and yoga for an interactive in-person workshop on how using essential oils can support you in emotional sobriety. Essential oils have been used for centuries to promote physical and mental wellbeing. Research suggests that certain essential oils can alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, and promote calm. They are also fun to use! Pair them with an affirmation, and you've got a combination that is incredibly more effective than alcohol or drugs! Dana, over ten years sober, uses essential oils in her personal recovery journey to help her with her symptoms of PTSD, anxiety and pain management along with other physical, mental and emotional ailments. In this workshop you will: Learn the basics behind aromatherapyChoose oils that can support youCreate an affirmation to pair with your aromatherapy Create your own blend that you’ll take with you (included in the workshop) 2:30-3:00pm Conversation and tea 3:00-5:00pm Interactive workshop Limited to 12 participants, $22 for guests, $12 for My Sober Girlfriends members All participants are required to: Provide proof of vaccination before the event. Wear masks unless actively drinking Naomi began leading events for My Sober Girlfriends in January 2020, and officially launched it as a membership in February 2021. She believes that growth-oriented women who are evaluating their relationship with alcohol and drugs in order to expand into their true potential should be supported in their choice by a community of like-minded humans. *Note: My Sober Girlfriends is a social health community, and does not provide therapy, counseling services, or drug and alcohol addiction recovery services.
