Tickets purchased in store are cash ONLY - $5 Monday Night Open Mic! A Busboys and  Poetry Event   For two hours audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices and a vast array of professional spoken word performers, open mic rookies, musicians and a different host every week.                                                                         HOSTED BY: Regie Cabico   Regie Cabico is the first Asian and Queer poet to win the Nuyorican Poets Cafe Grand Slam, later taking top prizes in the 1993, 1994 & 1997 National Poetry Slams He took a first place prize with New York's Bowery Poetry Club. His work appears on TEDx Talk, HBO Def Poetry Jam, NPR Snap Judgement. His work appears in over 50 anthologies including The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry & Spoken Word Revolution. He produces Capturing Fire: an International Queer Slam in Washington, DC for almost a decade.
