Join Columbus Gives Back in helping closing out and tearing down the Ohio Craft Museum's "Winterfair" Columbus Gives Back is excited to partner with the Ohio Craft Museum for the first time and their Columbus Winter Fair! Volunteers will be stationed at a help booth and helping with tear down on the last day of the 3 day event! What: Help take down Christmas trees, ornaments, lights, etc. Some light lifting is required. This is a standing/active role. Where:  Multipurpose Building, Ohio State Fairgrounds (717 E. 17th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43211). Parking should be FREE at these times. If not, you will be reimbursed. When: Sunday, December 5th 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Event Leaders: [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. About the Ohio Craft Museum: The Ohio Craft Museum is a program of Ohio Designer Craftsmen, presenting five major exhibitions each year, as well as focus exhibits and a rotating display of the permanent collection. In addition, the museum houses the Craft Research Library and offers educational workshops and events for all ages and levels of experience. Ongoing funding for Ohio Designer Craftsmen and the Ohio Craft Museum is provided by the Ohio Arts Council, Greater Columbus Arts Council, and the Columbus Foundation. About Columbus Gives Back: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals. #SocialTwist: Volunteers are encouraged to explore the Winter Fair before our shift, and we invite everyone to join us afterwards for food and drinks and to hang out with other cool people like you!
