Erin Moore, Director. Erin Moore moved to the Bay Area from Baltimore, MD in 2012 and since then has been involved with several local choral and theater groups as a conductor, vocal coach, musical director, and a private voice instructor. Her life-long passion for music began at an early age and in middle and high school she began formally studying voice and subsequently choral conducting. A frequent soloist in her hometown of Nashville, TN, Erin was a member of several award-winning school and church-based choral organizations throughout her middle and high school years. Erin received her Bachelor of Music in classical vocal performance from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she graduated with honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She went on to earn a Masters of Arts in Teaching for choral conducting at the same institution and subsequently spent 7 years as a high school music educator, musical director, and choral conductor in the greater DC and Baltimore areas. In addition to teaching, Erin also composed and arranged original works for her choral and advanced a cappella ensembles, served as pit conductor for many full-stage musicals, and was a musical director at a summer musical theater camp for middle and high school students. She also actively teaches voice and serves as a musical director with Pied Piper Players, a community theater group in San Mateo for late elementary through high school aged students.
