Fellow East Enders Equal Parts Brewing will be providing the local craft beer for the evening. Self professed "regular guys," the team at Equal Parts brew some of our favorite beers and have been generous supporters of our work. We consider ourselves very luck to have great beer brewed by great people right here in our community. The team at Equal Parts are innovative brewers and have collaborated with the farm on a few items including collecting a unique wild yeast at the farm and have even utilized some farm herbs in brews including our Mexican mint marigold. We've been extremely fortunate to have this wonderful group connected to the farm for all these years! Founded by Small Places in 2014, Finca Tres Robles, located in Houston's historic Second Ward, is one of the only urban farms within the 610 loop. They believe in the importance of making organically grown fruits and vegetables accessible to individuals and families on the East Side and have spent the last 7.5 years transforming a long-time vacant lot into a productive and inclusive space that serves our immediate community. We believe that that small places matter and with commitment, purpose, and passion their impacts reach far beyond their borders. Finca Tres Robles is Houston's only private farm inside the 610 loop, located in Houston's East Side just 4 miles from Houston's City Hall. Here we are growing herbs, fruits, and vegetables to be sold to individuals and families directly from our farm and at area farmers markets. We have been working to make it accessible and affordable to the immediate East End community as a way to begin to challenge the food system to the neighborhood, to build community, and to keep money here in our immediate, local economy.
