Holiday help?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to seek holiday help? I’m trying to help out a co-worker of mine. Her husband recently left her and their 7 children and she’s struggling and won’t be able to do much of anything for the holidays. Her older children understand but it would still be nice if they could have something to open Christmas morning and to be able to enjoy nice meals for the holidays. (17 year old boy, 16 year old twin girls, 14 year old old, 12 year old boy, and twin 3 year olds a boy and a girl) I know the older kids are trying to help come up with stuff for the 12 year old and the toddlers. They are all such sweet kids. I’m trying to help with holiday meals for thanksgiving and Christmas but as a mom of five myself I can only help so much. I’ve never looked into how someone gets help through places and am having a hard time finding information so thought I’d see if anyone knew how or knew of places that provide help with that sort of thing. Thanks for any information that can be provided!!
