We need to rehome our large mixed breed dog. His name is buddy and as it says in the title of the post he is a great dane/lab mix but looks more like a great Dane. Buddy is the sweetest giant you will ever meet, all he wants is love and to play. However, buddy is going to require a special home/owner. We have had many dogs in the past including puppies and we have never had training problems like we did with buddy. After over a year of consistently trying to train him he still was not house trained completely, he also used to chew on furniture when left home alone. Because of his size we can not keep buddy in our home and he has been living outside in a large dog house and fenced in yard area. Buddy is extremely sweet and now that he is an adult (around 5 years old) he may be more trainable, we are not sure, but we do know we are not the right home for him. No adoption fee but we do want to know he is going to a good home and would like you to meet buddy in advance to see if hes a good fit for your home. Email me for more details on buddy and pictures. We do not want a rehoming fee but we do want to ensure he goes to a good home, vet references would be great and we do want buddies next potential owner to meet him before we agree to release him to a new owner.
